First, the user looks at whether he is comfortable and pleasant to be on the site or in the store. UI design helps make a web resource visually clear and enjoyable. This is an important component that directly affects conversions and sales.

What is UI
UI design – User interface. First, UI includes active work on the graphical component of the interface. Animations, illustrations, buttons and other elements of the site are created, including fonts, colours, forms.

Depending on the needs of visitors, the colour palette, forms, and the structure of placing objects are determined. The user interface should be clear. One of the main tasks of a UI designer is to determine whether the site is visually convenient, whether it is easy to hit the buttons, whether the text is readable.

The interface consists of buttons, texts, images, fields, and other elements. The conversion of the site depends on their appearance, ease of use. Therefore, online stores with a poor user interface simply lose their customers.

The UI designer makes sure that the user’s interaction with the site is harmonious and efficient. User interface design is based on creating a clear vision so that the visitor immediately understands how to use the product (website, online store).

Interface design is needed not only for the visual design of the site. UI is needed to perform the following tasks:

1. Attracting visitors. The user evaluates the site’s appearance and usability within a few seconds. If the visitor immediately finds what he came for, he is satisfied with the visualization and, in general, the interaction is clear and simple, he will stay. Otherwise, the visitor goes to competitors.
2. Converting a visitor into a customer. If the order form is simple, the site is stylishly designed, it inspires confidence and positive emotions – the conversion of sales increases. It is more pleasant for the client to be on the pages of such a resource than on a site with an overloaded or illiterate user interface.
3. Adaptation for various devices. Interface development involves creating a responsive design that will look equally good on different devices. The owners of some online stores do not think about how their resource will be displayed on mobile devices, although often the majority of traffic comes from smartphones.
4. Withdrawal of objections. The correct interface of the application or site instantly removes the objections of the visitor. But it is precisely objections and doubts that become the main enemy of conversion.
5. Increasing the level of trust. The creation of corporate colours, fonts and other graphic elements makes the online store recognizable and increases the level of user confidence. Consistency is the key to good customer engagement.
6. UI is needed in order to establish a good relationship with the visitor. This is the only way he becomes a client. Often, online store owners try to save money by refusing the services of a designer and user interface development, but this decision leads to a big mistake. The site is ready, advertising is set up, but there are no sales. And all because users are simply uncomfortable or do not like being on the site.
