8. Complex parts
This trend in logo design is a fresh look at visual elements after such a long period of minimalism – logos with complex details.

From linear logos, an extension to more detailed logos appeared with many different lines, colour variations, fonts and small elements that combine all this.

It may take a lot of work to create such a logo, but the result can be quite surprising – a work of art that is bigger than the logo. Great intricate design can be used anywhere in any size and maintains the same level of interest.

Such designs encourage users to look, and then continue to study the design, trying to see every hidden stroke and meaning of the logo.

9. Lowercase letters
With so many designers focused on typography for their projects, switching to a font-based logo is not so implausible. Using all lowercase letters is a little more unusual and maybe a catchy solution.

The catch is whether this use of your brand or company name complies with visual standards and usage.

10. Simple shapes and lines
The use of geometric shapes and lines is another popular trend that is quickly becoming the basis of the logo. With clean lines, simple shapes and splashes of colour, geometry is a must in the logo.

It is important to note that many of these forms are simple and fit into the format of a square or circle with a uniform (or close to it) height and width. This initiative may be partially due to the need to have this form for ordinary online media and the use of a logo, for example, profiles on social networks.

11. Flat design
The flat design remains a popular logo option because it is very easy to work with. While flat design as a whole is starting to disappear with the radar of trends, logos still use this trend.

Flat logos remain fashionable due to how they are used. Many design projects have full-screen video or images, especially in website design, in full colour. Flat logos often lie in the foreground and should have some separation from the background.

Even brands that have more ornate logos often create a secondary logo in a flat style for this use.

12. Initials
It seems that these days the whole world speaks with abbreviations and initials. And the logo design is no different.

While this trend is most often used for secondary logos, initials are everywhere. Although there are three examples above, this collection could easily include hundreds of designs with a three-letter (or less) logo.
Most of these logos have interesting or non-standard typography designed for individual design. The logo should speak directly to the user and create an instant connection. The idea is emphasized by the fact that the user must know what the letters really mean (or have a desire to know).

13. Circles
Circles are fluid and are associated with energy, strength, harmony and infinity. That is why this form is a trendy element of logo design.

Circles are also easily placed in other places where the logo should appear, for example, in profiles on social networks and in corner places on printed matter, such as business cards or letterhead. Like many other logo design elements, in recent months, circles have become a more popular form in web design.

14. One colour
In addition to black or white, single colour logos are extremely popular.

Such logos are classically beautiful with a simplicity that is well demonstrated by associated brands. By chance or perhaps as a colour trend, each of the above examples has a one-colour logo style that uses the orange colour option.

Logo trends are interesting elements because, while what is popular is always changing, logos remain constant. This creates an inborn struggle for designers who are trying to create a logo that will be modern and stand the test of time. This is a pretty difficult task.

For a better chance of longevity, you need a logo that has an excellent aesthetic quality, is recognizable and readable, and you will have great chances that it will remain relevant for many years. Need a logo? Just contact us.
